ABOUT CAITLIN PAPPAS HOME
HI, I’M CAITLIN PAPPAS
Founder of Caitlin Pappas Home
I’m a firm believer that your home should feel just as good as it looks. I curate timeless, approachable spaces that blend cozy charm with quiet luxury — always keeping real life (and real families!) at the heart of every decision.
What started as a passion project renovating our own home has grown into a robust interior decorating and all-things-home consulting business. Today, I help clients across all stages of their home's decorating journey — whether that means guiding a full remodel or crafting a clear, confident plan they can tackle themselves.
My goal is simple: to create spaces that feel deeply personal, beautifully functional, and built to last.

Where can I find information on products and materials used in your home?
You can find shoppable, styled spaces from my home on the LIKEtoKNOWit app. I’ve also published a few source guide blog posts that link to products I love and choose to use in my home, and you can find those in the “Blog” tab and in the site’s footer.
FAQs
What is your honest opinion about X brand or product?
As a matter of integrity and credibility, I only support brands and products I love and stand by. If I’m taking the time to write about or speak about a product on my Instagram account or here on the blog, it’s because I truly appreciate that product. This guarantees that my endorsement is genuine. There are plenty of brands whom I’ve declined collaborations with, or that I’ve accepted, only to receive the product and not be willing to endorse it publicly. If you’re still not sure I’m being honest about a product or brand, feel free to send me a direct message on Instagram ;)
What are your design rates, and do you have availability?
I am always accepting new client Discovery Calls, through which you and I can discuss what your ideal budget and timeline are, what sort of work you’re hoping to do in your home, and whether or not your project can fit into my schedule at the time of our call, or if it’s a project that requires a bit more attention and might need to wait until I have more availability/after I wrap any existing client work. My rates are typically customized to the amount of attention and time the client needs, so there isn’t one flat rate, other than my one-hour virtual consultation, which is $250.
What should I look for in a fixer?
The term “good bones” refers to the framework of a house. When looking at properties you plan to fix up yourself, especially on a tight budget, ask yourself, “Does this house have good bones? Are the walls and foundation sturdy? Am I comfortable with the ceiling height? Does the house get enough natural light with the directions the windows face?”
Ponder these questions to start, and definitely look past things that are really easy to change, such as paint colors, floor materials, light fixtures, etc.
What are your favorite white paints?
Natural light plays a major role in selecting the best white paint. I always highly recommend sampling 3-5 shades of white by painting them onto your walls or applying a peel-and-stick paint sample. With that said, some of my go-to whites are Sherwin Williams Alabaster, Snowbound, Shoji White, and Greek Villa; as well as Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee, Chantilly Lace, White Dove, Ballet White, and Simply White.
Do you travel for projects?
Depending on the scope of the project and the proposed volume of work, I do occasionally travel to visit client projects. The client is responsible for travel and lodging, and we make the most of my time on-site by adhering to a robust meeting schedule. That being said, most of the work I do with out-of-town clients can be done virtually, typically with only 1-3 site visits needed.
